Hello everyone,
I recently own the used Gravely lawn mover which runs on Kohler KT17 motor. When I was cut the grass the deck hit the rock and tractor start to move sporadically. After spending few days figuring out what was a wrong it come up that points plastic body cracked which cause this problem. I did replace the points but could not adjust it correctly. I can set the points at one position that tractor start very easy but will not run good when accelerated to the higher position. Or I can adjust the points to the position when it runs smoothly at the high acceleration but when ignition switch turned off it will not start at all. It seems I can't get the both a good start and a high speed acceleration at the same time. Any suggestion will much appreciated.
