Snow Attachments Gravely 40 inch snowblwer shaft speed [RPM]

Does anybody know the max. impillar shaft [RPM] for a Gravely snowblower model 05171879? It is a 1991model with a 40 inch augar. thanks Dave

I'm thinking it's the slower 540rpm. I have the Gravely tractors and they don't have a very high rpm pto. I also have the same snowblower but haven't used it. I tried plowing one time with it and got covered with snow from a gust of wind and have plowed ever since.:thumbsup:

Thanks Jimbo, I have attatched the Gravely snowblower onto my 618 Grasshopper mower and need to change the shaft rotation and the gear ratio. I am planning on using a set of spur gears to change shaft rotation direction and ratio. My PTO shaft turns quite fast at 3100 RPM.
