We have 725 with Kohler 25HP 62" deck. I think we are close to about 1000 hours.
It was not completely trouble free though. The generator corroded and had to be replaced, The electric clutch was replaced (don't remember why) and one valve seat got loose in the head of one cylinder. Blades are also new. Several tires were wrecked by thorns etc. I think all the repairs cost somewhat over $1000 spread over about six years. The linkage from steering levers to the pumps has a lot of play now and will be replaced before next moving season starts.
Except the electric clutch most troubles were engine related.
When this one dies we will replace it with another Grasshopper with bigger deck and diesel engine.
