We are the fifth largest state by area with elevations ranging from 1500’ to 13,000’. Deserts, river valleys, Great Plains grasslands and Rocky Mountains with peaks above timberline are all part of our state, so we are very diverse in terms of vegetation and climate. My place is on the edge of the mountains and plains at 6900’ elevation. But by reading the OP post again, I see that he has 800’ of road. I was envisioning the OP talking about a lawn. I have about 2300’ of road and just mow the native grass and use glyphosate in the gravel just like you.
