Grapple Leaks Down

My new ATI grapple leaks down after about 20mins. I cant find any leaks. Its powered from the rear remote on my L3130. The loader and 3pt do not have any issues whatsover (I can leave them for as long as I want in the raised position. Any suggestions?

My ATI grapple leaks down but over 2-3 days. I am also using a rear remote, 1 of 3, to operate. The problem is probably there unless there is a visible leak at the grapple cylinder. On one of my remotes the handle drags against the side of the slot so that I have to physically return it to neutral. Perhaps your problem is something like that. One of these days I will get around to bending the handle so it moves freely.

The grapple is not being operated thru the loader or 3pt directly. Your leakdown is probably in the rear remote valve. Plug some other hydraulic equipment into the same rear remote and see if the leakdown occurs in that equipment. It's relatively common for rear remote valves to leak. That's why most people insist on a double pilot check valve in their hydraulic top link setups, to offset the possiblity of a valve leak.

Thanks for the suggestions! Is there a cheap and easy way to make the remote valve not leak down or do I need to have it replaced? The tractor is still new with only 15 hrs on it. It did not do this when new (or at least not noticable). I dont want to be using the grapple to hold a heavy object and have it lose its grip at the worst possible moment.
