Howdy!
As a current Blue owner, I've been hoping they might be bringing out something comparable to the new Grand L30 Cab models. They seem very nicely designed, and since I have some very tough property to navigate, the idea of a 50HP HST machine is enticing.
Now, with that said, the cab models seems to be a bit hard to come by in my neck of the woods. The two local dealers have some of the open station models but for some reason are having a tough time getting cab models in. In any event, I climbed over those the other day & they seemed like well thought-out machines.
Except for the FEL control..
With the "joystick" mounted up by the dash, it felt awkward to lean forward every time to play with. Also, it seemed in the way when ascending the platform from the right side. I may be somewhat spoiled, but I've grown rather fond of NH's joystick placement right where your right hand falls. It makes it very easy to steer and adjust the FEL position without having to lean unnaturally forward. Probably just a pet peeve of mine.
Anyway, I was curious as to how the FEL controls are mounted on the cab models. With the glass of the cab to the sides of the console, I'm not sure where Kubota opted to hang the joystick. Anybody know or have some pictures? I'd answer this myself if the local guys could get cab models, but such is life.
Thanx for any assistance.
Best Regards,
Jay
