Grand L 40 factory cab.

Who has one & how do you like it. How comfortable is the seat? Is the lay out of the controls user friendly, leg & head room? Any feedback much appreciated.

I've got a L4240 HSTC. Love the cab. Visiblity 360 degrees is good. Looking out by your feet or out the lower rear glass is good.
Instrumentation is easy to use and read.
Control levers on the right hand side (rear and fel) took some getting used to, but the arm found it's sweet spot.
Control levers on the left side (cruise and l,m,h speed) are easy to reach.
Tilt wheel makes getting into it fairly easy, and I'm a big guy.
Seat is more comfortable on this one that the L3430 I used to have.
I smoke and they don't offer an ashtray, so I made one
Overhead controls (wipers, heater, front lights) and the radio are easy to find/read.
Interior light works just like on a truck. Nice when you use it in the dark hours.
All in all, I'm very satisfied with the cab.

Out in it today with 10 degree temps and in a tee shirt was great
The heater kicks butt. Haven't used the a/c yet.

I will pretty much agree with Kit except that I do not smoke so the ash tray was no problem for me

got the m7040 with cab and air suspension seat. It is very comfortable

I am totally satisfied with my cab, can't imagine having an open cockpit
Yeah I'm spoiled and like to stay clean, dry, and not to hot or cold.

Hi hog hunter, do you know the curb weight of that machine & the what hp is the rear pto. Is the pto independent?
