Grading--what am I doing to cause this?

If all the roads were perfect after the first time to the point of requiring no maintenance, where would we get seat time?

Hmmm, let me count the ways - roads give me the least amount of "seat time".

... It seemed like the more I tried to get rid of the rocks popping up to the surface just created more and rearranged a lot of the ones I was trying to get rid of.

Sounds like my garden. It doesn't seem to grow much besides rocks. Every year we remove all of the rocks (we can find) and by the next growing season we have more & bigger rocks. Wish my vegetables did as well as those rocks seem to do!
