GR2110 mower shaft installation problem

Has anyone installed the mower drive shaft on the GR2110? I cannot seem to get the shaft u-joint to go on the mower deck. I got the other end installed on the PTO side (with great difficulty) but cannot seem to get the mower side u-joint to slip on the splines.

There is a bolt that goes through the u-joint. It is removed but no luck.

Just keep turning it a little at a time till it lines up.It came off-it will go back on.

Yes,the driveshaft is a real PITA.But,it gets a little easier the more you do it.
