Thanks for sharing!!! Your pictures have me ready for winter and put a smile on my face, although I'm sure down in Va we'll get a lot less snow than I'm accustomed to growing up in New England!

actually i am not sure why they were both looking off that way. the photographer was in front of the sleigh, and there was no one else there. she took about 12 pics, and this one just stood out.

Great Photos! Before joining the navy i owned a pair of Percheron Mares and loved driving them, albeit slower than a tractor, there is a certain satisfaction performing a task with a team. Since is left home my dad has started raising Halflinger horses, they look simalar in size and build to your Norwegian Fjord. Attached is a photo of my dad with one of his Halflingers pulling his newly refurbished 1900's buckboard.
