I ran out of puling power before tires would spin.I guess this is a good thing.My rear tires are loaded.I also have a cart the slides in the hitch.I have a boom pole I am going to weld a piece of 2" tube to also. 100_9981.JPG100_9667.JPG

I would have thought the subsoiler's design would have "drafted" itself in the ground without any extra weight needed? Ken Sweet

+1 for sweettractors. I agree the angle must be wrong. The chisel point on mine draws it down in the ground with a good amount of force when set at the proper angle. The only thing adding weight to mine would do is reduce the tractor's ability to lift it if it catches on a rock or some other subsurface obstruction.

You missed the point, the weight is not for the subsoiler to work ,It makes it easier to hook up without removing the weight! the tractor pulls it 2-3" shy of max depth. Works great!
