Some of you commented on my story about helping the young lady. Well she had to have a plumber to her house here in Western Kentucky yesterday. I had to go unlock the door for them then lock it back. Was talking to the main guy about helping younger people and he said that yeah he had an extra kid now for a few months. Said his ex-wife had a sixteen year old daughter. Ex-wifey got locked up for some reason and the girl was sent to live with her natural father. This guy heard about it and knew the father was using meth. So.....he told his present wife to go to the county courthouse to bail him out if he needed her to. Loaded up (? his words, not mine) and went to have a discussion with the father. The young guy working with him started laughing and said that the discussion didn't get too violent. Anyway, apparently he knocked on the door, forced his way into the house, told the sixteen year old to pack up and get in the car, exchanged a few blows with the father, and took the young girl home with him where she has been living for a few months. After he got home he called the county sheriff and explained what he had done and took the girl in to talk with him. Said the girl was panic stricken that she might have to go back home to 'daddy'.
That story beats the heck out of any I can tell.
What is this country coming to when kids literally have to be kidnapped away from their parents to keep them safe.
