Got my Skid plates and thumb....

Only 6 business days from date of shipping thats pretty good from Canada. Got the Bro-Tek Skid plates and thumb. Installed the thumb...very easy.

Anyone know what this part is for??

I just put my thumb on my BH75A, I had no idea what that part was for either. I use it to go in between the two plates on the crowd arm so that the link does not have play in it? I am not sure if that what it is for but it works great for that.

You're correct. The red "thingy" with the two spacers goes on the upper end of the link.

I love my thumb. I've been "harvesting" rocks for a retaining wall I'm building and use the BH w/ thumb to grab the rocks and then drop them where I can pick them up with in the bucket with the grapple I have on it and then off I go to the place where I'm building the wall.

You did a lot better than I did. Richard shipped it right away. Ordered 3/14, he notified PO on 3/16, arrived at his PO on 3/17, arrived in Montreal 3/19 and to me in NH on 3/31. It has to be further from his place to Montreal than from Montreal to me. They must have a dogsled down for maintenance.
Took only 5 minutes or so to put on thumb. Skid plates go on soon.

I need a rear skid plate for my 2350 and every time I go on the site they say to check e-bay. All I ever find there is the thumb!
