 Only had about a half hour to play with it clearing some Oregon grape patches, but I can tell that I'm gonna love this thing! From overgrown ground cover to bare usable dirt in just a few minutes! Wow, what a time, and back saver! Now on to the Blackberry patches! :mischievous:

Been looking at these. Please update on the blackberries. Before and after photos would be great!

Check out my day in the life thread. I have documented some of what I have done with it.

That page should take you to some pics and a video.

I need to make another video....that is the first day I had it and I have figured out the best way...or a better way to use it. If you tip the bucket more and go forward so both sets of teeth are in the dirt, you don't have to put so much pressure on the bucket and it strips the ground so much better.

It really is a very useful tool. You can also use it to scrape Poison Ivy off of trees and such....I am a little afraid to touch it now :)

But with both sets of teeth down you can still steer the tractor and push really where you want to go....and clear in one pass. I have been able to knock over trees and have them come out by the roots...trees as big as an old Ike dollar.

That is a much better way than driving forward and then backing back over the laid over trees. Potential for damage to the tractor is pretty high when doing that even on larger tractors without the HST fan exposed.

:cool2:22 glad for you and congrats you got your new RR and yes you will love it cause I love mine. It does a great job in taking up weeds and saplings but make sure you walk the ground that you want to pass over. I made the mistake of thinking oh that is just a tiny stump peeking up from the ground and boy did I get a surprise. So stop reading this reply and go out and have fun with your new rake.

Yea...I am a total noob at this and learning as I go....so far I have not made an expensive mistake. I have learned quite a bit so far.....these things are so much fun.....but if my wife is reading this it is real hard work ;)

I've learned to push brush, vines and small trees with my RR well back from my drive and into large piles. I don't burn or remove them because they quickly become home to a zillion animals and birds. I've had a noticeable increase in wildlife around the piles.

The RR is really great because I pull out most anything small in soft ground and keep the property looking neat.... Then use it to prepare a seedbed or finish grade my gravel drive.

Great tool.

I use mine to "Texture" and break ice in my driveway in the winter. Spring I use it to redo the gravel. An all season attachment for me.
