Still going great, still waiting on the blower kit though, frustrating.

The blower kit finally came in today, went and picked it up. Hopefully throw it in this weekend.

I've been heating with wood for about 20 or 25 years now and have had 2 fireplace inserts and now have 2 free standing stoves (1 in the house and 1 for the shop) but none of them looked / looks as nice as the one you have. Really nice looking insert and a super good deal. You gotta be one happy camper!!!!!

Bet your are loving that stove this morning Happy. It was 6 degrees this morning here and the house only got down to 62. Had plenty of hot coals to get her fired back up. Recently installed a pipe to the top of the stove vs. the rear as seen in the earlier picture. Big difference in draw and heat output.

Let us know how the blower install goes.photo (4).jpg

Is that a Hearthstone stove?

Yes sir Roy. We chatted about it earlier in the post.....but the picture was older and without the pipe.

They do make a pretty stove, don't they? Their enameling is quite nice.
I was at their facility (central Vermont...Morrisville or Morristown) a few months ago...I really like their pellet stove!
The sandstone tops are quite pretty and appear to radiate heat well...only complaints I've read about them is they're easy to chip. No personal experience though...read it on one of the wood stove forums.

They sure do make a good stove. Had ours for about 8 years and it has held up extremely well. No chipping or cracking at all. Radiates heat for a long time and we really like the look of stone. This one is the Heritage and the side door is a nice feature for loading.
