I found some trash in the fuel tank outlet. It was the calking compund that PT used to seal the gas cap lip onto the tank. Look down in the tank at the outlet.
Thanks guys! I took off the line right before the filter and blew about 3 to 4 PSI from an air compressor back through the line and checked the flow again. It ran like a river! I didn't visibly see anything in the tank but hooked it back up and it ran for about an hour non-stop. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Hopefully it will continue to run till the tank is real low then I'll clean it out the best I know how. I'm thinking about running a pipe cleaner through the elbow coming out of the tank and then swishing it out with some gas. Just happy to see it running again, scary watching a new investment start acting up after only a few hours! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
When I first got my 422, I found trash in the bottom of the fuel tank that would intermittently block fuel flow. After cleaning that out, it ran fine for several years until recently when it would act like it was starving for fuel. Long story short, I pulled the fuel solenoid and found what looked like a small piece of fuel filter element that would block the main jet every now and then. Cleaned that out and it has run great for the last 10 hours or so.
