They do an impressive job in my experience although there is a lot of up and down rocking and uneven cutting on uneven ground (IOW, not as nice of a job as a tractor and bushhog). However, they also handle terrain that's difficult to get to with the tractor and bushog It's also nice to have it in front of you so that you can cut the stuff before you go over it.
I'm just using mine with a ss with steel tracks. Your CTL should be a bit more stable.
