Thanks for all the great posts helping me on my decision! Came down to the MF 2310, JD2305 and the BX24. JD was nice but too $$$ for the same setup by about 20%. MF was about the same $$$, but I just like the Kubota attachments and ergonomics better. Kind or comes down to the local dealer - Frederick Equipment (in Maryland) was great to deal with and have a great reputation. Called them Friday and picked it up the next morning!

Took FEL and BH off in about 5 minute each first try and mowed some with the 60" MMM. Makes quick work of mowing but I'm a little leary of any side slopes...

Will put it through the paces of moving dirt tomorrow - Mothers day planting of plants and trees.

I'm not far from Frederick Equipment. I concur, they are a good dealer.

Congrats on the new machine.

I notice you got the turfs. I'd be curious to know how you like them. I got my BX24 last week with the R4s. Seemed like a bit of a bumpy ride on my first mow.

The turf tires seem fine in terms of bumpiness... no worse than my previous lawn mower. It's been pretty wet and I've had no problems with traction at all. No marks on my lawn either. So far so good.

Anyone know about what the price difference is between a bx2350 and bx24?

Spec-wise they are pretty similar - is the difference just a beefier unit with the bx24? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
