Could the poly line be kinked due to being buried? I would run a piece of copper above grade to see if the problem continues.

This is a possibility, had that issue develop in mines and had to get the trench dug up again.

Up and running. Replaced the regulator and both the range and furnace now work. I may have gotten some debris in it, but since I know it's well over 25 years old, I have no problem replacing it for $40

I may try to pull the old one apart and see if I can figure out what happened.
