Never tried a deep friedt turkey. They have been catching on up here. Also some people do the trash can turkey.
Baked is fine for me- I like the meat dry with plenty of gravy. -My job to make the gravy.
My wife says that for the last 15 years, turkeys have always been .49 a lb. Maybe it's just our chain of supermarkets- sharing holiday cheer. But the .49 cent turkeys are excellent and great tasting!
