Got a Mower!!

Was reading here (lower forums) about low ZTR quality last night, as I had given up on finding a good used MMM for my BX23. Googled RCK 60 and 54 one more time, and one was listed Sunday night literally blocks from my house! (Richmond - Chester Craigslist)
Seemed just a bit high, but looked as un-used as the fellow described - his wife didn't like cutting with it and she got her own Cub mower long ago. Luckily I married a tractor-girl who likes it already!
So, there's a $925 mower on my TLB - more good tools cheap!!

It is missing a bolt/spring/nut gadget at the deck-chute junction. The big spring shaft & pin holds it all together - the other bolt/spring/nut doesn't seem neccesary - is it?

I had the dealer install the mulching kit on mine. That consists of 3 mulch blades and a blank plate over the discharge. It tears up the grass wonderfully.

Just for the record, mine's a RCK54-22BX - I think... it sure seems big in the garage!

So, not 60, not fine - will it accept a mulch kit?

I kinda had the impression 60's could get mulch kit, and 54 plain could upgrade (total swap) to 54 fine. That was just my impresion from dozens of posts - but no real charts!

Can all of them add mulch kit?

Do you know about that shield to stamping bolt/spring/nut?
