Purchased a new 24 PJ deckover for my Case IH 55A and F250 today. I got the flip over ramps instead of the equipment ramps since I can fold flat and they are wider.
When driving up on the trailer for the first time with the tractor, once the wheels got off the ramps and onto the dovetail it picked the rear truck tires off the ground. The way the ramps are designed they don稚 support the weight of the dovetail or stop it from dropping.
I used jackstands to support the rear of the trailer for the unload, but that just seems clunky to do all the time for loading and unloading.
Any options other than welding some drop down support stands on the back of the trailer?
