Just purchased a Eurospand 203 Fertilizer Spreader, for $425 out the door including agitator. I am about to install. I donated my Agrifab tow-behind to my neighbor. He bought my old GTX 38 a couple of years ago. Let you all know how I do with it. I have never used anything but a tow behind, /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif and I finally got tired of it ! Is it PTO powered, what did you have to "fire up"? I think I will go stoke the boiler on my Kubota and fire up my M96 Herd, got seeds to spread and a light rain last night. Red clover, alfalfa and fescue. Whats a towbehind? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
One of my neighbors hired a fellow with Kubota 30?? to till his ditch in the front yard so he could seed it. I don't know exactly what happened but after the hired help left I saw him out on his Crapman and a towbehind seeder. It tumped over and spilled all the seeds /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif . If I had not been busy I would have done the seeding for him (free) but then I would have to hear about insurance and taking the money out of buisnessmans pockets and so on /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif J

A Tow behind (pull behind), is one of those rather sometimes inconvenient spreader units that you pull behind your tractor. I had an Agrifab and just got tired of trying to rig something to reack the handle from my 4100's seat.
That must have been a case where your neighbor had that tow behind real fiull and got it on a very un even track /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Hope they did not get hurt /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Here's a shot of the unit hooked up. Note the reason the blade is still on, is that we are getting reports of 4 - 8 inches of snow out here for tomorrow

Nice unit, how does it spread? I notice what appears to be a forward shield, what does that do? Glad to see you are enjoying your unit. Both 'botas are doing fine, one lives with my parents for now. I still have a very nice home down there along a bayou and last time I was down the BX helped repair some spots in the lawn and some wash areas along the banks. It is a very large estate sized yard, several acres, plus my parents home and sisters so the BX has plenty of work to keep contented, not to mention another several acres homesite I purchased down there and there is also plenty of mowing around my hanger property.
How many bushels is that spreader. Why is it called a Euro something, is it from France?--I hope not! My wife is French-Cajun but these days we tell people she is Italian /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif.
I like the cone shape, I bet it feeds real nice, will it throw sand?

Tres, it is called a Eurospand by its Italian mankers. It is an Italian made unit. That shield keeps you from getting the material spread upon you! This spreader can accomodate 300lbs. Yes it can through sand. Spreads nice!
BTW, we do have to remember that the French were there for us at the start of this fine country, so if the French at that time were not there we probably would be eatin fish and chips and flyin' that Union Jack!!!! - Heaven forbid being relegated to horrible cooking, soccer, and a different sense of humor!

Hmmmm? After what the French have done since that time, I had completely forgotten all about it. Even with your reminder, I again, have already forgotten. But thanks for trying anyway.
I understand from friends who are working in Europe that the French and German people do NOT agree with the position their Govt heads have taken recently, which may have an effect in their next elections. On the other hand, maybe it won't. Hopefully the people in Iraq will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to make their own decisions in the future. It won't be a cake-walk in the park, I am sure. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

My dad served on the front lines in Korea. He didn't last long, only about a year and a half. First he was injured and then a severe nervous break down. He did recieve a Purple Heart. Dad had never talked much about the war as us kids grew up. It just wasn't something he never wanted to talk about. I was watching the Olympics some time ago with him when they were in Korea. They showed a picture of the Koreans burning the American Flag, Dad could only cry, you don't know how that hurt him. The French have forgotten what the Americans did for them.
