I stopped and got gas today in Hartville, OH (Just North of Canton) for $2.49. That's the cheapest I've seen it in a while. I am so conditioned to paying close to $3.00 that I get excited at $2.49. They have me right where they want me. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Filled my pickup plus 2 - 5 gal cans this morning. $100.00

Never used to give that 10 mile trip to town a second thought, now find myself asking "do I really need to go or can it wait?"

I took three 6 gallon cans and my van ON EMPTY to the station last night for $2.78 a gallon. Filled the three cans and started pumping into the van. All the pumps in our town seem to auto shut off at $75.00 even if you are paying with a credit card. You have to pay in advance with cash. $75.00 use to be a lot of gas. I didn't even get the van to 1/2 on the gauge. I could have started another transaction, but I was so disgusted, I just closed it up and went home. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I remember when that shutoff point was $35.00. It wasn't that long ago. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Like you, I go over $100 very often when filling my truck and getting a few gas cans filled too. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
