Gorilla Tough and Wide Duct Tape

Bought a roll last week from Lowes. Needed to seal heavy plastic and bought this thinking it would be very good. It is wider and per label holds better. All was good till I open the roll and handed it to my wife as I was folding the rolled plastic to be taped...she was pulling with her might and the tape was not unrolling. It is bear to unroll...the extra strong adhesive they use and the wider tape together is something else to unroll.

So I thought glad got this, this will hold the debris real well...probably would but if you leave the black plastic in our hot July sun for few hours the adhesive came loose. Picked up a roll of debris from tearing a house down that weight just short of a 100 pounds to shall I say, spill its guts.

Handle a few more bundles that held but handled them very gentle.

It is costly, about mid teens in price per roll. But I bet if you got it on the surface right and did not expose to excess heat it would probably would hold any thing you want it to.

I used that stuff to fix a cracked plastic cab on my M126X which had an unfortunate meeting with a tree branch.
Still holding 3 years later.

That stuff is legit. I patched rips in a garden tractor seat with it, and it held for 2 years before I sold the tractor. Held thru the heat of summers, cold of winters, and my butt rubbing against it.
