Safty hitch is the one that they sell there at 380 and 35 . From what I can tell it doues not pivot, it ties into the bumper. They have a nifty video on there.

I can tell you that regular semi-truck doubles are a bear to back up even trying to stay in a straight line. You cannot really see the "jiffster" or "dolly" or what ever you wish to call it until it is out of line enough that you need to start over just trying to stay straight. Some drivers do get pretty darn good with them though.You see ones for semi trailers a lot and are called Joe-Dogs or Jeeps. I made one to pull my manuer spreader behind my ATV due to the hitch height and the toung weight. I saw one used by a guy delivering goose neck stock trailers. He had one behind the first goose neck pulling another. As far as backing up behind the ATV was not bad. Not sure how you would do it with double trailers for any distance.
