Google earth is the most deadly, worst possible program you could put on your mac. You will find that you spend hours days perusing parts of the world you have never seen nor existed. you will find yourself using streetview to see old homes you lived in, or homes you used to sneak into your girlfiends window on. An then it gets worse, suddenly you find the city models, the extra plug ins, the tutorials about the world that is not only written, but zooms you around the planet.

google earth is the devils work. Do not use it if you value your time on this planet.

In all seriousness, you do need a good internet connection and an newer mac to make it work right. It works on slower networks, slower macs but it is not much fun. I am mac only in my world
