When asked why Blue as opposed to another color, I had forgot that the old Ford F250 with it's original Harbor Blue paint might be pulling it someday. They would compliment each other. No baling wire anywhere.

Another good reason to see for yourself how nice the NH Blue really is. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
I've included a few pix's of the PT Crusier. (also blue)

Hawgee, I use my old F250 diesel with a C6 and Gear Vendor under/over to take loads up the grade to our cabin at Lake Tahoe. Even though its not turboed, has several hundred thousand miles on it, it will still do a great job even at the summit which is over 7000'. Its probably just broken in enough now to start using Amsoil or Redline synthetic oils. Have a blast with your new tractor, P.S., James, a member here, has a TC45D with SuperSteer. Rat...

gordon,

About James, it's been blue envy cause I'm still waiting to see the new TC40. Will look forward to the stories how he mows around new planted whips so close, that the big beast never touches a branch or "leafs" a mark on the ground. Never having to use his left leg. Unless he wants to kick a pig?
YES, oil is a key factor for the life of any year and make, but will leave that subject over in Muhammads other tractor related group. (for good reason) /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

With SuperSteer, I never touch a new whip, or branch. My left foot is jealous of the right, that's for sure. I would have thought that with R4's, and a tight turn that it would tear up the ground some, but it won't. Well, I didn't really buy the SuperSteer for that reason. I wanted to do circles around them orange and green tractors. /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif Just kidding, one never really knows what his machine will do until he gets it home and makes it play, I mean work a while. I have 20 hours on the tractor as of today, and no problems yet. Hope none will be reported. The picture of TC45D that Hawgee posted was /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif. James

Dearest James, I quote you

"I have 20 hours on the tractor as of today, and no problems yet. Hope none will be reported. "

Hoooooold On there James, what in tarnations do you mean by that? Was it not you with the, you know, psssst, female problem, a little lady so and so out joy riding on your toy, hmmmmmm? Ahhhh ha, thought so. Don't try and tell us New Holland owners don't have problems. I'll be watching, Rat...

Glad to hear you are having fun...oops I meant working hard.

Looks like JimBinMI has another New Holland owner to chat with...whew.

Don't forget you still have to balance your time with your wife.)

Have fun and stay safe.

I stand corrected. I have one small problem. One 5'1'' or so woman who sure loves <font color=blue>blue!<font color=black> /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif James

I've got a 5'4" "problem" but she's taken a liking to mowing with my old Ford riding mower /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. She doesn't mess with my TC 25 much though, and she's welcome to mow as much as she pleases with my small Blue. She's even named the old tractor, she calls it "Old Bessie" /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

I've got a 5'6" "problem" I wouldn't trade for ALL my toys. Had her 30 years, low maintenance, hard worker and what tractor will cook you dinner one minute, hand you a socket the next and help yank your shoulder back into place?

She wouldn't get near the 1710 after her first time on it, calls the BX "Mighty Mouse" ( I gotta get some graphics on the hood!) Looks occasionally at the L35. I sure rather have her on it than some other tractor owners I know!

Mine is 5'-9" and she will run the 8n all day mowing or raking but she doesn't even know how to start the Kubota nor does she want to learn. I think I like it just like it is oh by the way shes tough as nails doesn't mind getting muddy but every woman has her weakness she is only a fair cook but I'll stick with what I've got!!!!! Oh yea I almost forgot she is great at setting choker chains and limbing in the woods as well. Thats plenty well verused, if she would only learn how to cook it would be the perfect woman!!!!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Oh yea I tell her she is a pretty good cook because I figure something is MUCH better than nothing on the table./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
