I just got prices today and want to know what you guys think. These prices are for the Kansas City area. I have two acres(7 more possible, mostly horse pasture) and a horse riding arena that I will drag with a harrow. I'm sure either tractor is capable of what I want to do but I do like the B better because of its size and ergonomics. Both are brand new tractors.

B2320 - $11,150
60" drive over deck- $2200
Loader (LA304)- $2700
Backhoe (BH65) - $6500
* = $22,550

BX25 - $16,200
60" deck - $2000
* = $18,200

Tell me what you think. Thanks

Let me tell you right up front. I'm a big B fan. I've owned a BX2200, B7800 and a BX1500. I currently own a F2880E, BX2350 and L3240HST. If your land is fairly level and ground clearance is not a big issue then for the money the BX is the better deal. If you do a lot of FEL work a bigger front bucket can save a small bit of time but your looking at a fairly substantial difference in price and I'm not sure the bucket is even bigger on the B you've picked. The BX can do all the B can do. In my opinion the difference between these 2 is higher ground clearance. I'm not sure what the HP is of these two but added weight takes some HP to push the tractor as I've found with my move from B to L. I have rocky hillside with gullies and ditches so for me I prefer a high HP B

I just picked up my BX25 last week in the Houston, TX area for:

Tractor: $15,950
3-Point Hitch: $225 (interestingly enough I see that the Kubota website has these listed for $199 now)
60" Mid-Mount Mower: $1,550

I too would say consider the uses and decide on the tractor. Two years ago I bought a B7510 instead of the BX because I need the ground clearance. Same setup you are looking at minus the backhoe. It was a good decagon for me. If you don't want to take it into the woods and other challenging places the BX is the way to go. Good luck.

Can they both load a full size pick up from the side with the FEL?

The B2320 has a bit higher FEL lift and load ability. If you need that you know what to do.

I know I will have to decide on which one I go with. I am sure a bx will do anything I need, but I like the "extras" on the B. Taller, wider, more FEL capacity, ability to dump into pickup truck bed from the side and last but not least, the 3 range hydro. I know that this decision will come down to me alone so what I am wanting from you guys is pricing advice. Are my prices good, slightly high or really high?

Have any of you owned a bx and then bought the b2320? What are the differences you actually noticed, not just the differences on paper?

Come on guys, I know a bunch of you have B's and BX's. Let me know if this price is high and what I should expect to pay.

Another question on the BXs will the loader bucket lift high enough to load a 4x4 full size 3/4 and 1 ton pick up?

Muskrat,
The BX price is fair at $16200, $16000 would be better. The mower is high at $2000, should be somewhere between $1500-1800.
The B price is tough at $22550. I think $21000-21500 reasonable. That's a big brice jump for a little more tractor.

LBrown59,
The answer to your question is yes. I load into my Chevy 3/4 ton all the time from the side with my BX, it's kinda close, so you have to pay attention.

BTW, Your question should have had a new thread instead of hijacking a price thread. One demerit for you.
