I think the "technical" reason is because they route the seatbelt through the slot in the fender where they put the cruise control lever. Like that should be real hard to fix...

Sounds like they already have built in cruise control by way of these sticking hydro pedals.

Maybe the best solution is to just jump off the tractor just prior to hitting the garage...and let the safety paraphenalia shut off the engine and stop the tractor, ha, ha. Better not say that too loud or that will be Kubota's fix.
