Morning all, 29 going to 41 and sunny.
Got about 1" of rain yesterday and some ice.
Checked the Jeep and no blower at all, today will look at fuses and relays.
I already know the drivers side air door is jammed and replaced the passenger side when it broke, just plain clock motors with stop switches.
Need daylight so will try to look mid-day.

Drew - have seen that house with the lawn full of decorations, see new ones each year piled on

Looks like maybe the Xtool site has been hacked.
I have the OBD 11 for my Audi, did not upgrade it to do the coding, but it is good at getting into the hybrid battery and other areas that the regular OBD can't. Has BMW support, but have not looked into that yet.

There's one other large property about ten miles away near a local quarry that has hundreds of inflatables too, but
they are spread out. That place has been doing it a long time. I bet Engineer knows the place. Near Penns Park off 232.

I went back to bed about 6 and just got up at 9:30.
While I was out yesterday I got 4 cans of PAM at the dollar store. Since it is going to be at or above freezing today I think I will go out and treat my BB on both sides to a couple of cans of PAM. Fluid Film is better but not 15 times more better. PAM works just as good at $2.oo/can. FF is about $30.oo/can.
That is a job for noonish or so. Have to haul the cats litter to the schitty compost pile, too. I may clean up this place a bit better, too. Just wont use the treated BB until the next snowfall.
I have to get on amazon and order more white KD. I am down to my last 8 boxes (enough for 2 weeks). Peanut butter is getting low too. I get that in the 5lb jars.

Know of any that can program BMW/MINI CAS-4 or 4+? My KingBolen Ediag can do many, but the only options I'm finding out there for CAS-4 are all 4-figure$ territory.

I have a 2021 Mini that needs a new key fob, and BMW dealerships charge more than $650/each for them.

I bet Popgadget would do it for half!

successful morning.
dealer quoted me 121 bucks for oil change, and came in 111.
of course then the big sell started.
air cabin filter, 110 bucks.
didn't you just change that

then they wanted to do an hvac clean where they sprayed cleaner on the radiators.
Hmmm, just what I do/did with my own hvac condenser at home, for ten bucks a can.

when I got home I looked at the bill and saw I had been charged for 9 quarts of oil.
no way, not a diesel in there.
so I looked it up, yup, 8.2 quarts for a fill.
no wonder this engine lasts so long, they designed it with a big oil pan.

they also emailed a video to my phone, which I need to get off the phone and onto my pc
to see anything. More pics of my leak. Want to see how bad it is.
yes Bill, I have lots of cardboard for the floor.
going to see if it even drips on floor over time, may be just seeping out.
Transmission power output shaft, whatever that is, has a tiny drip.
suv has a Torsen center differential, so some extra hardware in the path.

went food shopping on way home, all set there.
think I'll work on sanding my walnut board this afternoon.]

63°F and no rain

A good start on mowing yesterday. Might have gotten a bit more done except the half hour over the fence chat with neighbor lady. Good to catch up though.

So continue this morning, other side of the driveway then off to Hilo town for a couple errands and meet up with LA friends for a late lunch. They just got in for a short visit.
