26F snowing but light and fluffy little over 4" ending around 11pm,better than 10-12 inches WMUR9 been forecasting last couple days.

Good day at work, did quick plowing with pickup honestly it waste of time and fuel but good puttering.
Day 3 no signs of bears visiting :( guess there starting the long winter nap.

Plans for the evening  can't think of anything interesting.

Enjoy your evening all.
We got the full 10" of the high forecast, just in from plowing and still a little flurry spitting out there :(

The Christmas music show was really good. Came on home afterwards, roads were fine. The rain had stopped before the show began. Coming home, after driving probably 10 miles, someone behind me was flashing lights at me.. Turns out my lights were off, so probably only running on Daytime running lights, and no tail lights. I had forgot I had turned them off because of sitting in the running car to make heat.. Can't tell when driving with street lamps.

Hope I get some sleep tonight. I forgot and started to pick up a bag with my left arm, and it's already aching.

good morning all
no idea why I woke up this early but enjoying my coffee and looking at weather radar
going to be a mess this morning, freezing rain, an inch of snow.
going to decide mid morning whether I really want to venture out in this just to do lunch with a friend.
my homemade mushroom soup will last another day.

made appt for full torso CT scan next week, my 5 year one that hopefully will get me discharged from oncologist.
That would be a nice christmas present

Kyle, I think you have one of the most fascinating jobs, working with new tech, young minds and passing along
really useful skills.
I would wait for better weather.
Hope CT scan goes well. They would have to knock me out to stay in there.
I am blessed to be in the middle of all these smart young STEM oriented kids. But they have so much to learn, even after they graduate.
That person is commuting to work.
Bet he was wishing he had a windshield, grip warmers, and a dry suit! Who knows, he could have had a wetsuit underneath those clothes.
I saw a guy on a Harley this AM headed out the highway. 32F and cold!
Or maybe it was actually a snowmobile and he got out there a bit too deep. :)

Good meeting with the boss, she has told me about some more group changes, so hoping that means I am around for a while.
Good to hear meeting went well.

No closure for snow story. While traveling home and in Fargo ND for lunch, a fellow stopped at our table and asked "are you guys for Hancock-Houghton? I taught at Finlandia!" which is a locale university now gone. He had seen our home town on a t-shirts we wore. We chatted with him for a while and heard this story.

We moved there in the fall (some date) and our kids were in basketball so when the weather station called for 6 or more inches of snow that day, we told ourselves "that game will be canceled" and they didn't! We later learned they'd never cancel for that modest amount and life went on with minimal change. We got used to it. :)
Those pods on those ATV's will get you there!

Do you have a bi-directional scanner?
You could command the actuators to move and see the feedback signal if the actually follow the command. I had a similar issue on the old RAV4, and it was broken linkage, determined by seeing the actuator position change in the scanner.
Of course that assumes stepper motors rather than pneumatic actuators, and separate dampers for left and right.
But plugging in to the OBD2 is easier than crawling under the dash.
This is great advice. I still don't have a scanner like that. ;( Need one to see which loop is open in my airbag system.

Has anyone dove off the deep end and got a tire pressure monitor programmer? 2 out of 3 of my hooptys have the TPMS light on. They are getting cheaper on Amazon. The actual monitors that go in the tires are still pricey unless someone has found some that work and are cheaper.

Hope all have a blessed night.

Her car may be interesting come Friday morning, I have a minor surgery Thursday so she will have to drive and the pickup is too big and clumsy for her in town. The forecast for that night is zero or possibly below so it will take a lot of heat.
Make sure you warm it up while it is plugged in before you leave.

I have the Xtool D7, it does have some TPMS functions, but it’s not a dedicated TPMS tool. It is a bi-directional scanner with data for about every car around the world, it can program keys, and much more, but like any jack of all trades, it does have its limitations.

Good morning, the low is 26 and going up to 34°F. Wind S 11 mph. Flurries. Risk of snow squalls coming tonight with 2-4" possible.

I'm up way too early, but when you toss and turn and destroy the bedding and wide awake from 1, it is time to get up. I can always go back to bed later...I don't have any 'pressing' appointments until April and even that one can be put off.

Have a safe day all
