My Mother passed at 98 recently and she took art classes in high school. These are a few I liked, one was great Grandfather's original Foundry.
I got a call from someone 40 miles away who saw Mom's obituary and has one of her paintings he's had for years and wants me to have it. I offered to pay & he refused. When he took it apart he found WWII stamps inside.

Thomas, take it slow and easy. What you don't get done today can wait until you are feeling better.

When I was a young'un after thanksgiving Dad would slice up the rest of the turkey and we would have leftover turkey for a couple of days, then Dad would make soup out of the carcass. The cat got the boiled out bones if she wanted them.
Yes sir...finding that out more the older I get..."slow and easy" (y)

Mom use to do the same even with ham bone, dang I miss homemade pea soup.

Good (Sunday), first day of Advent, morning. Overnight Low of 6C and it's presently only 9.9C, overcast, raining yet fairly calm. There was 6.0mm in the gauge @ 0700.

Yesterday I was able to get to the Church and changed the 'colours' over to purple, plus assemble the Advent wreath/candles on top of the baptismal font. I then topped the ute off with petrol, returned home and managed to Z-turn mulch Paddock #5 before it started to rain.

I'm off to Church in a short while and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

Barely hit 40 deg today, did turn pellet stove off as the room got too hot. Tiger is laying on footrest between my legs. Snagglepuss was on me earlier, she's somewhere. I heard that Pebbles is laying in a closet upstairs, one of her new spots..

wife uses hamhock to cook green beans.

Did you paint the white emblem or can you do 2 colors?
We got some new Prusa printers at work, and are getting them put together. 2 Core Ones, and the bigger Prusa XL that has 4 or 5 heads (so you can do different plastics and colors on 1 print). I need to come up with a cool print.
The emblem was printed, it was 1mm thick, and flush with the surface.
I almost got the Core One, but got the Bambu X1-C instead, largely because the shipping on the Prusa was very expensive.
As far as multicolor, I have 2 AMS’ giving me the capability of 8 colors, But generally use one with 2 black and 2 white so they don’t run out.

As far as cool things to print, learning to 3D model ( in my case with Autocad Fusion) has been the greatest challenge.

I learned a valuable lesson about putting my Swiss Army Knife in the ultrasonic tank to clean it. Don’t crank the heat up!

Cool that you were able to make your own. If it ever happens again, and assuming the knife is Victorinox, you can pick up scales pretty inexpensively online. I end up replacing those on each of mine maybe every 20 years, on average.
