good morning, 33 going to 40 wind is down and feels much warmer

Snow is still forecasted for Tuesday. Hooking up the V plow on the RTV is on the agenda. In the past always managed to do it on the coldest days but getting ahead of it this time and plan to check the alignment to adjust it to be flat for the full range of angles as much as possible

Managed better than 11K steps hoping the foot problems will not return

Ordered a welding cart from prime weld. One step closer to having a functional welding shop

Continue to be impressed with your skills Paul.

Morning all, 37 going to 42 and sunny.
Need to move the rest of the leaves so I can store the blower.
While the wife went shopping yesterday , I worked on the receiver for our upstairs TV that hasn't worked since a storm a while back. I found the optical audio input died and moved everything to the second optical and had to do some button work to select the different input, but it's working.
Bought an IR repeater as the one I had on it is dead, should be here in a day or 2. Nice to have real sound from the TV.

Not sure what we will be up to later, son went over to see some friends.

Be well,

66°F and 0 rain

Finished mowing my Hilo far section. Pleased with the way the banked area is improving.

51.5 hours on the Bobcat now. Time for the 50 hour service. Fortunately the filter package came in earlier this week. My focus for today

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great tractor day

Popgadget, sorry about your Swiss knife handle but impressed with your plastic print. Did you paint the white emblem or can you do 2 colors?
We got some new Prusa printers at work, and are getting them put together. 2 Core Ones, and the bigger Prusa XL that has 4 or 5 heads (so you can do different plastics and colors on 1 print). I need to come up with a cool print.

Having a tough time taking care of my mom, combined with an autistic child. We have had her for almost a year. And it hasn't been easy, especially for my wife and I need to make sure wifey is taken care of first and foremost. Was hoping my mom could be more self sufficient, but she wants to be waited on hand and foot...."Can you please make me some hot chocolate?" After coffee and breakfast.

Wondering if any of you guys have had to put a parent in a nursing home? It looks like we have to drain her assets down to less than $2000 for medicaid to pay. I did get a Lady Bird deed registered for her home in her county. I just wonder if they'll still make us sell it to wind down her life's savings? I could spend a bunch of her savings on a new roof and HVAC for her old home first, if the state can't come after the house in probate.

61F going to 75F. Y'all come on down and thaw out, but hurry. Like Don said, a cold front is due tonight.

I fixed up a warm bed for my barn cat. Uses a ceramic element that screws in a lightbulb socket. She loves it.

Ohio St vs Michigan game is close. OS just scored a go ahead TD. I ain't got no dog in this fight. Would like to see Michigan pull off a win.

Prayers for our team, our nation, the families of the NG soldiers and the one surviving soldier, our country, and for peace in the world.

I had to put my Mom in a nursing home. I hired a lawyer to get it done. It was not cheap. But got everything done in a couple of weeks. Did not have to sell her house. They left enough of her income to keep paying for the house cost. Mom was in a nursing home for 3 years.
Next hardest job is finding the right home. Reviews are all over the place.

Thanks guys for the nursing home experience.

BEF, lol, looking at the score, it doesn't look like any neutral rooting from my end will be any detriment on your end.

After some research, the 2025 Thanksgiving dessert tour would have been OK, as long as we stick to pie.

Might want to take a covid test. My SIL caught it twice over the Summer/Fall and that is what she was complaining about.
Mrs. strongly suggested in her way about getting test,I'm leaning stopping in Monday for test since I ain't youngster anymore. ;)
