Morning all! Currently 25 going to 40 today.
Sorry about your mom Fuddy! May she rest in peace!
We have snow on the ground this morning! Walk and driveway are clear but still hate to see it come.
Having serious pain in the neck again. Mornings are ok but by the end of the day I can barely move my head. Back to the doctor can't happen soon enough!
Yesterday was an expensive day for us! My laptop is dying, our main television is 14 years old and dying and our Christmas tree needs replacing. Figured we might as well throw in a new sound bar for the tv too! The old one is hard wired and doesn't work with newer tv's.
Luckily we were able to get black friday prices early and saved quite a few bucks.
Not sure what we will do today. Was supposed to meet a friend for breakfast but he ended up in the hospital with super high blood pressure and very low sugar. They admitted him till it can be brought under control. He is fighting cancer and MS and they keep messing with his meds!
I did manage to do some small projects in the shop. Two ornaments and a small hollow jar. Taking it slow most days but am trying to enjoy some working. Enough of the Debbie downer stuff! It's a great day to be alive!

A cool morning here at 26 and going to a high of 37°F. Wind E 14 mph. Possible periods of wet snow or freezing rain. If I have a choice between snow or freezing rain, I'll take the snow.

I've got nothing planned for today, another energy conservation day for sure.

Phil, have you tried a foam soft collar for your neck? They have helped me and I always
drive with one.

not sure what will get done today, not warm until lunchtime.
probably will go food shopping this morning. Have one more ten
percent off coupon.

I ordered a four inch wide thick piece of walnut four feet long to be the backing board
I need to install a pot hanging rod in my kitchen, on a sheetrock wall.
Also ordered a small bottle of tung oil.
Popgadget offered to put a decorative edge on the piece and will take him up on that.
walnut piece ordered is 1.75 inches thick; wanted something beefy to sink longer screws into.
means a lot of predrilling but that's not hard. Need to hunt some four inch long square head or torx
screws at hardware store.

does Torx/star strip out less than square?

49 outside right now, calling for a high close to 70 today! Windows open on the old house today for sure.

Fuddy, so sorry to hear of your Mom, Condolences. Quite the picture. Says a lot about her in a very good way.

Nothing on my agenda today, that will be the status for a few more weeks.

MIL pickup tomorrow. She is staying with us, again, for an extended time over the holidays. I can tell my wife is already stressing. She stresses we all stress. LOL.
