Good evening all. 55ºF for the start, partly cloudy sky, light breeze. Light wind, partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 80ºF. Made coffee to start day, made oatmeal for breakfast, bike ride, worked on trip prep, got rest of wood split, nap, and cleaned up kitchen after dinner.

good morning all, or middle of the night, up too early
only plans for today are getting picked up by brother early and taken for epidural in lower back.
just a shot, so I'm in and out, decided with new doc would wait until after first procedure before I decided to
drive myself home, which I usually do. Before this procedure was done with propofol, optionally, and then you need a ride
home. If he hurts me this morning with that big needle, I'll be asking for the really good drugs
the next time.

just read an article that particulate filters are now being introduced for gas engines.
Regen on a gas engine? maybe they are just thrown out. Stay tuned. Sounds like another maintenance item.

Topped off car fuel tank. $2.82 gallon. After filling fuel tank on tractor windrowed leaves on back field. Then cleaned tractor. Removed MMM and put it away for the year,
Going to wash windows today. Then blow all the leaves in to side field and woods from front yard.

Remember Hechinger? One of the original big box DIY hardware/home improvement stores. I shopped there before I had ever heard of Home Depot or Lowes. My sister gave me this Hechinger wheelbarrow as a gift back in 1985...thick steel, strong oak handles and a strong axle. Still has a few specks of their trademark blue paint on it. One of those tools I've become attached to.

Looks like another nice weather day.

Last night we had dinner on the beach under the stars. Very nice evening

Did want to mention that all these photos of Northern Lights, the radio propagation has been taking a big hit with what I’ve heard from online reports from friends, so if I have to be away from my radio station, I guess now is the time to be away from home
Time to go for our walk
