Good evening all. 57ºF For the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Moderate wind, up to brisk gusts, Mostly clear sky, and high temp was 80ºF. Made coffee to start day, office work, bike ride, broke a spoke near the end and was able to finish. Made a pot of spaghetti sauce to celebrate Ann's b-day memory. No nap, replaced spoke on Peugeot and had dinner. Should be able to spend more time on catch up posting soon.

Billy glad you got a hike/swim in Sunday.Good to chimney/stove pipe clean and almost read for assembly. They found a lot of mud dauber nests when fireplace insert was installed.

Bill glad only 6 stops for North Bay. Hope it went well. Sorry about Blue Jays. I was rooting for them as well.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 43° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 56° with rain mid day. Grocery shopping went good. After putting them away got all garden plants cut down. Still have piles to trimmings to pickup. That will depend on when rain ends today. Need to replace furnace filter today.
Moved suet cake feeder to new place. This one is alway black after changing to new cake.

Punta Cana, 79 to start going to 84.

The kids
Got here yesterday and had to jump in the pools almost immediately. By the end of supper they were falling asleep in their chairs. Today will be more fun for them, along with an energy boost.

So far weather has been very good, hope it keeps up for awhile. I went down to the beach at 5:45 to get our chairs and someone had gotten them before me , so I guess I need to get there earlier.

Today I turn 74, wow, don’t know how that happened. Hoping to get a few more also

34 in Chestertown MD and coffee has finished brewing.
just finished my shower and time to wake up.
Headed home about 10am this morning.
I'd leave earlier but friend needs help hooking up his trailer.
He has one of those fancy reverse steering knob gizmos in his truck and
clearly he didn't understand how it worked, i was constantly telling him
to turn wheel the other way. He needs to practice.

Good morning TBN!! From sunny St. Cloud Florida
66 this morning with high in the 80s

Yesterday was pretty near 12 hours of driving. Hard to do that anymore.
Got it in time to see the GS play his baseball game and then pretty much fell in bed.
No offense but I don't know why people CHOOSE to live in this area. Traffic is nuts. Get to do it again in the other direction on Sunday. Told the kid I wasn't coming back until he brought his family to our house.
One perc of the trip is a SnapOn 3 piece tool chest that I will get to my house. Living by other rules and schedule for the next couple days.
I do want to swing by HF and pick up something. Decent give aways with any purchase. Might do it for a couple of days and get one of each. Moving blanket will come in handy to silence the tool box for the trip home.
I already miss the dog and piece and quiet.
I had a productive day on Wed but I'll be dam"ed if I can remember what I did. I do know I spent a little time sanding the buggy's floor pan.

That strong wind forecast made me decide not to go backpacking Wednesday night. Dyneema tents aren't a good match for falling limbs during the night. Now I see there's a huge wildfire near where I was heading in Craig County, and on in Botetourt. So just went up to Shenandoah NP yesterday to work on my SNP 500 goal. Good hike with Della, but it's been so dry the waterfalls were petite .
