thanks, I sure would if I owned this place...
when I got here, no garage door opener, just heavy wood door.
I installed the garage door opener, so in some ways I have created
my own problem.

I would love to replace that window with a door.
but I'd rather have my landlady put new vinyl flooring in this cottage

I'm going to put a stepladder under the motor today and see if the battery became
disconnected somehow. I'd really like to run the two I have in parallel to get more capacity.
that would take some fab work on a ladder which I need to do carefully

I thought I had already replaced the gfi in the garage. Curious as to what trips it

One of things that I would have loved to have seen in the wild is a mountain lion (not to close though). Many sightings have been reported in the north east but most have been inconclusive or mistaken identity.

pony, thanks for the tip on the H2O Mechanic channel...I've subscribed.

I found a deer tick behind my knee during a tick check after our mountain hike...don't know how I missed it...it was likely from a previous hike Monday since it was embedded. Looking at it yesterday, it had developed the classic bulls-eye redness pattern (erythema migrans) of Lyme disease.
So, after taking Della for a hike and swim, went home to trade Della for my wife and off we went to get it looked at and a prescription. Then lunch and some shopping at Home Depot.

I hate using repellant, but this is the second time in less than a year.
