Good evening all. 61ºF for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. light wind, sky became mostly clear, an high temp was 86ºF. Half the 10 day high are warmer than average high + 5ºF and no rain. Made coffee to start day, starting clean lady prep, bike ride, trim yard, visit with neighbors, nap work on vessel view module, not getting blue tooth connection with phone app. Did get dim display on sonar fixed. Also got another load of laundry done and have clean sheets to put on bed
Ron glad shopping went well. Nice to hear shrubs trimmed and trimmings cleaned up. Hope water lines went well. Nice bird pic.
Drew hope lunch went well. Thanks for story about your friend.
Drew the sign was about Harry Caray, likely location in Chicago. I remember listening to him and Jack Buck on radion in the 60's
Billy sorry you spent 3 hours in SSA office. Glad you got a good customer service skills. Sorry all you got was the 1099.

Dinking first cup of coffee. 53° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 83° with sunny skies. Got rerouting of water lines and filters installed yesterday. Had one leak. Had to resolder first one I did. 6 hours of up and down ladder wore me out. Not a good night's sleep. Plan is for a conserve energy day today. After I put all the tools and supplies away.

good Saturday morning all
cooler day today but dry until tonight

that is one cool walnut picker, an implement most of us don't get to see. I've used the hand roll pickers but
if I had that many walnut trees, what a great tool

coffee going down, waking up, will work on starting to pack rv for my trip later. Definitely taking both electric heaters with me
and some warmer clothes. Nights going down into 40's means a chilly time in rv without putting heat on.
Campgrounds all warn of using electric heaters and we all do; have paid for the electric but without a heat pump most rvs
use propane for heat. That is noisier and costs money. I never leave the rv without turning off heaters, same for my home.
if all else fails, which it doesn't..., I have an electric mattress pad on the rv bed which I can turn on to take the chill out.

my close friend who just bought his first rv is sending daily emails questioning this and that. Fun to help him.
He is pulling a 6000 pound travel trailer with a full size Ford pickup, easily handles that weight.
in fact...his trailer would pull behind my suv also, just not as easily.

Good Morning from Central Texas,
At 4:30 am, the weather station says 60.4 degrees and 55.5 dew point. Headed to 92 today. A horrible September here, too hot and bone dry. The pastures are all browned out and the cattle are scrapping the dirt. Worst yet, going to get hotter next week - mid 90's.
Big Fire Department Fish Fry fund raiser today. Have to get busy soon and boil 20 pounds of potatoes then to the grounds and work.
The USAF F-47 sixth generation stealth aircraft ( Boeing contracted ) airframes are claimed to be under construction. Exact specifications or a believable photo is hard to come by.

Ct, 58 to start going to 76 with some breaks of sun this morning and more cloudy conditions this afternoon.

Picked up my grandson at the bus stop yesterday afternoon and Kathleen drove across town to get our grandson daughter from pre school. I helped Ryan put a Lego model together, he just loves that stuff, but he probably didn’t need my help

Today, I will make bacon for them this morning and then around 9:30 I will head over to our radio club. One of our members is giving a lecture on Winlink, and then pizza with the members at noon. Back home and probably take the kiddos somewhere, TBD

I just ordered a new electronic keyer paddle, top of the line Vibroplex , my new IC7610 deserves only the best

Winterdeere, nice walnut picker. Never heard of one. I only have one BW tree, so kicking the nuts to a pile by the trunk is a fun game when I'm out walking our dog.

Looking forward to an inside day. After I got back from taking Della to the park for a hike and swim, my oldest son came over and tried to work me to death clearing brush yesterday. We got a lot done and had fun, but it was a hot day and we had to drag lots of little trees uphill where he wanted them placed.

Still need to roast coffee since I used that planned time to sit around the SS office, and then worked outside all afternoon yesterday.

Good morning TBN!!
65 this morning and light rain. 80s this afternoon with more rain.

Slow day yesterday. Friend came over for an hour or so to let our dogs play. Then a bath for my dog. He needs it after because both dogs drool on each other and get to be quite a mess.
Binged another couple of episodes of GT and here we are.
Depending on the rain today I want to get a few things put out in the lean to. Usually the last step before the dump I know if I take it straight to the dump I will need it tomorrow.
Then probably watch the rain. Couldn't get any for a month and now they are talking flooding again.

Time for a second cup.
