good morning all
looks to be a wet day in the 70's
though not much rain showed up yesterday, will see if
more today, we need it.

off early this morning to go see spine surgeon at Rothman for a consult. Depending upon that,
will then call and make consult appt with another surgeon at competing practice. I've put this off for five years,
don't think I can wait any longer.

Thursday Sept 25
time sure flies

Drinking first cup of coffee. 60° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 71° with patches of clouds. .13° of rain yesterday. Got some shrub pruning done after things dried up. Made wood bracket to mound water filters on. Collected all the tools I may need to install filters later this week. Off to grocery shopping this morning. Then back at shrub trimming.

Good Morning All.

68 going to 85, probably some rain. Need it.

Wag, how do you manage to get 3 hours of free electricity? Pretty nice.

BEF, more pix! I like that Eufy cellular cam...had not seen those. I use one of their Wifi and solar powered cams and it works great. For a trail cam, my son gave me a Tactacam...$5/mo for basic cell coverage, and it auto switches to the best available cell signal...instant notification...I use their phone app and their web access from my PC...both are pretty slick for remotely managing the cam settings and indexing photos.

Yesterday was a hike and swim day, and then mowed a couple of areas I skipped last time until I was afraid I would run out of diesel...need to make a run to fill my 5 gallon jug and roast today. Yesterday nearly stepped on a copperhead again...second time in a week.

Good morning TBN folks and hope everyone's doc appointments and health, is doing well.. Its 45 here now and a predicted high of 74 today. We are seeing a much needed dry spell here and plan to stay at a camp we are in the process of purchasing over the weekend. This would be our longest "rain free" stretch since June. I parked my do-little utility trailer in the sun in hopes it drys but with the humidity on it each morning, its the same as is if had rained and the fall sun, has so little power. Do hope to get some preservative on its boards, before snow flies. Will need to mow the lawn again and we did shuttled our camper to its "for sale" location and have got a call on it. Sure would be nice to get it sold. :)

Good Morning,
And the old firehouse on Pier A:
Ken, great picture , thanks 🙏
Do not think they can jump the fence
Frits, I’m not sure about that, I have never seen it but have some Vermont neighbors that say otherwise 😉
Changed the oil and filter on the truck...hoping it will get me through the winter before the next one
GM Billy, great minds think alike 😃
I try and make it to late October or early November and do the same thing 😉

Good Morning,
Ct, 62 to start with heavy humidity and rain going to 66 or so. Looks like I’m stuck inside, which is fine because I worked most of the day yesterday. Looks like energy conservation today.

Ron, beautiful picture this morning. 🙏

Paul, neat setup on the hydraulic auger, that was my complaint when I used my Leinbach 12” PHD, no down pressure 🥲 I don’t use it anymore and would gladly sell it if I could find a buyer 😉

I treated myself yesterday to another piece of radio gear, I bought the Icomm IC 7610 transeiver. Pricey little radio but worked hard to pass my Amateur Extra exam and I’m treating myself. 😃 The receiver section of the transeiver is much better than the Icomm IC7300 that I’m using now.
This is one of the reasons I work my little part time job, so I can buy a toy every now and then 😉

Hope all have a wonderful day 🙏

Helped a friend troubleshoot the fuel injection on an 80’s Fiat spider. It’s Bosch electronic injection, and the fuel pump is not running. The fuel pump relay tests OK, the computer is outputting the signal to the relay, my guess is that there is a fuse inline somewhere that is blown. Next step is to prove that theory by delivering battery voltage to the relay, and see if it works. Then he has to find the buried fuse or broken wire.
80's Fiat? Man you are a great friend, or a glutten for punishment. :)
