52 outside right now, heading to lower 80's. Dry..dry and dry... no chances for rain in the near future.

Managed to get the hot tub hooked up yesterday. Might have an air lock in one pump. Will be out looking at that in a few.

Not much else going on, may split and move some more rounds from the front yard to the wood shed. Been sitting out front for a while. Not a good look. Wood shed is stacked five feet high already.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.

Well regardless of the label, I hope that it turns out well.

FWIW: I use a half mask P100 when out mowing or doing anything with dust (wood, soil, spray paint, or metal). They have at least ten times the efficacy of the disposable masks. I've been thinking of upgrading to a PAPR for when things are really ugly here (e.g. wildfire smoke). It isn't much gain on filtration, but a big reduction in lung effort when using filters for VOCs.

Happy Monday to all!

All the best, Peter
I have a PAPR at work, it would be good for ease of breathing, but the tube and side worn pack would be bulky to wear around equipment.

I'm looking at all those containers go for a swim and I'm thinking guess it's going to be
awhile before that replacement TFAL frying pan comes in. My old one has a ton of use and it was time, and there was quite
a backorder date for Amazon's number one pan. Now I see why.

Swim after that one buddy! It's got my pan in it!
Maybe that is where my new monitor is....in the drink.

Not to be political, but a political assassination today. Charlie Kirk speaking on a college campus. Only 31. So sad the hate in our country, so sad.
RIP Charlie and prayers for your family.
I'm sad too.

Been using my new 3200i generator for the past few days. What section or thread, should its review go?
Doesn't hurt my feelings if you post here.

Whirlwind of a work week this week. I'm so ready for the vacation next Friday. Will be nice to sit in an airplane and do nothing for 24hours straight. Picked up a larger checked bag at Walmart the other day, pleased to report that the entire department store my girlfriend wanted me to bring will fit now.

Parents, nephew, sister and brother in law all shove off for the beach this coming week. They'll be getting back as I'll be on the other side of the globe for the week. I think I'll manage to do a Monday good morning post, but I'll probably be unable to Friday. Don't worry, I'll take pictures for y'all.
Safe travels.

Prayers Buppies and Holly, Ted and Dona, mostly and all. For peace in Ukraine and ******.

Morning all, 71 going to 82 and sunny, dry
Didn't get much done, fighting off something all week, slept in this morning and feeling a bit better.

BEF - hard to lose a sibling.

Still need to split wood, still way behind, but the wood should be pretty dry, so wait it will..

Be well,

Moon is sticking around this morning.

25 years ago I was taking my first boat, first day on the water, headed from Purchase CT to Atlantic City.
And looked around in NY harbor while there. Kills me I don't have a good pic of Statue of Liberty but the pic looking backwards
taken by friend's cousin who was out in the dinghy was a keeper. Sure aren't going to see that again.

that was really quite a day my friend on the swim platform and I still talk about. My engine room caught fire just outside Atlantic City
near the Brigantine Shoals,. black smoke billowing out of engine compartment, the access to was the living room floor hatch.
Turns out one of my Crusader big blocks plugged an exhaust manifold with rust, boat was sitting too long, and then no water to the
rubber exhaust tube. Always seemed strange to me they would allow an exhaust hose to be made of rubber, but they do.
fine until the cooling water stops. Shut down the engines, figured out it was only one smoldering large diameter exhaust hose, and then limped
into marina on one engine. That was my introduction to boating, all on the same day. Kept that boat about five years, then bought the Bertram.
Both named Camelot. In the Broadway show it only rains in Camelot on Wednesdays so seemed like a good weekend boater name...so I left it, and continued it. really it meant more like my place to get away

Good Morning
57° and might make it to 80 today under a clear sky.
Yesterday’s accomplishments were basically the trip to Martha’s Vineyard and playing music with the boys afterwards.
Had a leisurely dinner on the patio of peach, cheese and tomato while Zoe wandered around exploring, and checking in periodically to make sure I didn’t go back inside without her.
Wife was at a funeral for her good friend’s son that was killed in a truck accident in the first two weeks he was away at college.
This morning she is at a farmers market.

Not sure what’s on my agenda, I’ve got an energy recovery ventilation system to install in the old folks home, might start on that. I also have some more tooling I’d like to make, and there is still fence work to be done.
From afar, flying around in your GS seems like such a great retirement gig.

We are looking at installing an ERV. Any tips?

Fog moving upslope this morning, and will hopefully wash out the smoke layers.

All the best,

Peter
