Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.3C and it's presently 19.1C, becoming overcast with strong wind. The "Liars" still say that rain will occur sometime today... amount & timing constantly changing.

A 'fun' morning yesterday; first a meeting @ Church with a parishioner who would like me to accompany her in singing (apparently I have perfect pitch and an 'ear' for harmonising). That was followed by a trip to the PO to mail my Sister some trinkets/postcards featuring penguins. They're her favourite creature... the postage to Canada was more than the items in the parcel.

The last thing to do was to stop at the veterinarian to book Penelope the Pussybeast in for her annual 'shot'/check-up.

Today, due to the rain that is "promised", I'll do some personal dhobi.

Well, I got the shelter frame put up and screwed down to the foundation logs. That is as far as we got. Off and on rain showers all day. Gotta find a couple of 1/4" by 2" carriage bolts for a project on the inside of the shelter. A hanging system for the dip stick for the tank. I want to put a shelf in there too, so everything for the oil tank is in one place.
I've got a bottle of fungicide and some anti-gel to store.

I am keeping my knee oiled up pretty good and it seems to be responding.

I ended up working all afternoon and evening on annotating the slides I had already scanned, and getting the trays all labeled. But I took many trays back to ohio already, so will have to retrieve those again to do them. I have about 2K marked where I can pull the tray and find the slide based on the info in the slide title. Still have about 1200 to go. These are just the slides from my parents.

Good evening all. 71ºF for the start, mostly cloudy sky, light breeze. light wind, Sky was clearing in morning, the clouded back up late afternoon, and high temp was 93ºF, HI 97ºF. Made coffee to start, made oatmeal for breakfast forgot salt . Got Peugeot ready to ride, Volagi tire lost some tread on HHH. Bike ride, helped move some items to be put on display for Fish Fry, mowed back yard, lunch, nap, get cover back on boat, clean up for dinner at stepdaughter's house.
Buppies prayers sent, hope you are getting some sleep and Holly doing well.
I hope to start catching up tomorrow.

Drinking hot cup of coffee. 48° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 68° with mostly cloudy skies. Started cleaning up pole barn work area. Found a incomplete project. That put a end to cleanup. Then it was time for trip to PT. It went good with 1 more visit next week before another visit to Dr. Today need to get some diesel. Then back to shop and barn cleanup.
Today is National Dog Day.

Good Morning.
It’s 57° and going to be another nice day, high in the middle 70’s and clear skies.

Yesterday started with seeing grandson get on the school bus.

I ended up mowing everything, including string trimming and blowing everything off, then put my feet up for a while.

Today is off to Palm Beach, then all the way up the east coast to Portland, then back to Philly.

As long as it is National Dog Day….

Good morning, the low is 48 and going up to 66°F. Wind WSW 6 mph. 30% chance of showers.

If the wind stays down then we will get the roof and end walls on the shelter today.

The next biggish job will be the roof for the tractor shed.

That is my day planned out.

Some years ago i was coerced into attending a rehearsal for a singing and dancing show. We all lined up and sung a few songs. After I was approached and asked "er Cam have you ever thought about doing something in scenery or lighting" I never went back.

Good Morning,
Ct, 58 to start going to 75 with blue skies and low humidity.
I mentioned in yesterday’s post that we were having the last swim lesson , actually it’s today. I did get the pool cleaned out yesterday, all the leaves and dirt, and put in the chemicals for the week. I will probably close it up the third week in September, after that it’s just too difficult to keep clean.

Today I hope to get some portable radio operation in POTA, Parks on the Air. I also need to get the grass mowed before swim lessons at 3 pm.

Paul, cute picture of grandson going to school, I imagine we will be doing the same on Thursday.

Happy, nice work on the bridge, I can’t imagine the amount of work you put into that project ! Beautiful job.

Good Morning from Central Texas,
Another HOT day forecast. Weather station is down for outdoor unit batteries, but would guess 70 something with 70 something dew point.
Headed to Austin today for wife Dr. appointment. So, the day is shot for any accomplishments. It is such a shame to see all the Muti-unit apartments springing up. I suppose because so many cannot even think of owning a house. Austin traffic, taxes and cost of living are out of control. Guess happening everywhere.

Dump run, hike and swim Della, and then off to Torchy's and grocery store with my wife.

Strange folks on the trail yesterday...one girl in a kimono...later saw a young lady quickly turning her back while she put on a t-shirt as she hiked "au naturale" with a man and 3 other ladies. I don't think they were locals.

45 here in Houghton MI this am with a predicted high of 66. Dearest is working a 1/2 day so we'll be looking at camp properties in the afternoon. Rain moving in tomorrow so my record setting mowing season will continue. I'll post some pictures here later.

Just a thought/comment check the bottle of anti-gell often they will not work if cold or added to cold fuel.

55 outside this AM, may get to just below 80 today. Downright chilly. Nice fog hanging low over the pastures now.

Will finish up the weed whacking today and take the tractor for a spin in the pastures. Yesterday was a good outside work day in a long while. I took one water bottle with me and I did not even think to drink it. Been a long time since that happened with the weather being just right.

I ended up working all afternoon and evening on annotating the slides I had already scanned, and getting the trays all labeled.

What are you using to scan them in?

Wife and MIL have gone through over 6k slides since MIL has been here. Have a pile sitting next to me that need digitizing. MIL doesn't know what or where on a good third of them. Such a shame.

Good morning TBN!!
55 this morning for the first time in a long time. Supposed to be a fantastic stretch coming up. Cooler and lower humidity.

Yesterday was going to be a down day but ended up fairly productive. Spent a couple of hours pressure washing. Sprayed the truck down for the first time in probably a year or so. Break job in it's near future. Also some much needed wash time for the 4 wheelers.
Probably get in to something else since the weather is cooperating. Still need to install flush valves on instant hot water tank.
Not sure exactly what I will get in to.
But for now

Time for a second cup
