Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of -0.2C and it's presently 11.3C, clear & calm. The wind did show up yesterday, but no shower/rain. Oh, well.

Nothing really happening or planned for the week, apart from the regular stuff. Lovely.

That's about it, take care all.

79.7F at 22:00, heading down to around 73F for the overnight low.

Got all the arbs watered, also soaker hose run on the indeterminate tomatoes on the straight trellis for 1 hour low flow, then 1/2 hour on blueberries/rhubarb low flow.

Took a break from planting when Woman asked if I was going to come in for dinner.

Asked what was on the menu, She said BLT’s … She didn’t have to ask twice. After dinner I headed back out to finish up.

Got wax bush bean planting completed, all 3 rows fully planted. Took 2 packets of seed plus a small part of a 3rd one. Final tally was 166 seeds planted.

After that did some more mulching and trellis work on the arched trellis.

Now time for some strawberries with homemade shortcake and cream.

Hope everyone has a nice evening.

I have no first hand experience with the Mr Cool units, but they seem to be reasonably reliable based on all the reports that I have seen.
My only issue is with the pre charged line sets. The untidiness of coiling up the excess length just drives me nuts.
I realize that most people see that as a feature because it’s what makes the DIY install possible.
However, I’d suggest going even cheaper on the equipment and buy a vacuum pump, a basic manifold and a burnishing type flaring tool and making a proper installation.

Good morning TBN!!
66 this morning. Should be about 92/104FL and humid with the usual afternoon Tstorms.

Went out yesterday looking for garage sales. Found just 1 but didn't buy anything. Seems like there aren't many sales like there used to be and the ones you find have basically retail pricing!
Came home and worked on my press some more. Got some casters tacked on and cut a steel plate to cover the base. Probably about done with it.
Plan today is to haul a little bit of stone to fill a small hole that is developing in the bridge from rain and settling. I'll decide if I am done with the press and maybe for something new to start on. :)

Time for a second cup.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!
Best mod to my 20T press was the air hydraulic jack. So much better than pumping.

Morning all, 78 going to 86 and cloudy now.
Weather was perfect if not a little hot for the graduation party. Had at least 50 people, lots of kids running around and after most of the adults moved to the main field, they took over the pool and had a good time.
Food truck and Hawaiian ice truck were well received.
At one point my son and his friends dragged out drums and amps and played a few songs.

Got some of the worst cleaned up last night so we didn't get a critter attack.
Today we'll put away tables at leisure and fold up and put away the rest.
Having the gorilla cart is so great, can load it up and stock the bar.
Bring it back, load ice and fill the coolers.

Son was really happy and everything went to plan. Even some of my sons friends parents showed up, so that was nice.

Our prayers for your drummers family Paul.

Be well,

Dog is so tired from running around she's just passed out next to her food bowl this morning :)
Sounds like a great celebration, Ken
Definitely a great reason to celebrate.

This has been a very interesting day.
You might recall, I finally got VA Disability last fall, 10% for tinnitus. Was also able to determine everything else was denied, but denied without any sort of records. Disheartening, but I resolved to file the Supplemental and supply everything I could. That was Oct. I have reported here going to a number of evaluations.
Friday, a neighbor told me he had some VA correspondence and was going to response even though he is somewhat bitter about previous attempts. Curious as to my status, I logged online to learn that my review had been acted upon late Jun although I hadn’t received anything. Information said some denied, some accepted with 0%. Not really happy, but as I have often told Sophie, better to be healthy and their determination didn’t affect that.
Yesterday, the VA letter had arrived. Just tossed it on the table.
About half way thru cup of coffee this morning decided might as well open and read the bad news.

Not what I expected.
Will be interesting to see what this becomes as 60% is a different status than 10%.
But overall I have to say it made for a great day.
Sophie did ask me if she should call the local Vet Center to pick me up for Day Care? 😁

Drinking first cup of coffee. 61° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 85° with plenty of sun. Had a good breakfast with son yesterday and then he was back on road. Helped neighbor remove old deck post. He has a Kubota BX tractor that was use for the removal. Surprised had how much slower his BX and less power his backhoe has that. Its over 1000 lbs at bucket. Got it done. Pizza lunch with other neighbor went very well. Did not get much done rest of the day. Did not get Garden Pond maintainace done yesterday. Plan to get that done after PT this morning.

Kyle, I remember that visit at restaurant. Good meal.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
up early, slept well, house was warm when I got up and no wonder, still
75 out now, high of 85 and lots of rain coming in this afternoon, several inches apparently even though
radar doesn't show much.
of course this is the day I get my car detailed so I'll be messing it up bringing it home, but main reason for detail
was interior. Very light leather, (could be fake leather?) reasonably clean, but inside of car has an odor from prior owners
cologne or hand lotion or something.
And what I don't want is for them to cover that smell over with some fake cherry smell, so a no smell request will be made.
two month wait to get into detail center, they did my volvo and made it look like new, so I'm looking forward to this.
otherwise car is running great.

in the rain today will work on cleaning out rv and working inside.
probably should look to see if I have any beans to pick.

that's good news David, good reason for a happy hour toast.
