spent some time planning and confirming my next rv trip, another two day special, this time out to Lancaster to
see my lifelong friends there. They owned the Lancaster Honda dealership, and in 1988 I bought my Foreman atv from them.
since they are into music, I made reservations at the Belvedere Inn in Lancaster for dinner Friday night July 11, they have some kind of live
background music playing. Looks pricey but they liked the place.
this is such an easy trip for me, only about two hours. Out the PA turnpike a little ways and then 202/30 all the way out.
Campground is on 30 in Gordonville,Country Acres, have been there before. Probably will go to central market Sat morning, or some other bakery.
Will bring a bunch of baked goods home for the locals.
first I surely have to fix that tire. Though first actually is my 14yo nephew's son who is coming tomorrow morning to help me wax the upper
front eyebrow of the rv. Other than scaffolding, no way to reach that area, so he will slide on his stomach from above.
needs a three course dose of compound, cleaner wax and a top coat of chemical guys butter wax. I have a buffer, but this is mostly hand work due
to the vinyl lettering up there. No cleaner wax or any wax on the vinyl, just dries it out. Going to get a small towel soaked in 303 protectant and have him go over the big decal there. And once that towel is soaked with expensive 303...he can hit the plastic a/c cover, vents and cowls up on the roof. I'll keep him going til noon, by then i'll be worn out anyway. I promised to barbecue some burgers for him for lunch and that will be some quality time together. Luckily he has plenty, I mean plenty, of practice waxing stuff since his father has at least half a dozen collectible cars including Ferraris stored in his barns, and just built another three car garage. For the future...
this young man is a real worker and I don't have to supervise. Just have to explain carefully, then I'm sure it will look great when he is done.
after hanging upside down for hours, I wonder how he will be... (going to make sure he takes some breaks)
probably should go inspect the green beans, pick the larger ones. I try to pick them fairly small anyway.
this Burpee assortment is remarkably productive
I bought the half pound by mistake. I'm on the second year and I still have beans out my ears, and the germination was still perfect.
