68°F and .14 inches rain

Very enjoyable day playing tour guide with friends yesterday. We had’t been in Volcano National Park main area in a couple of years. Lots of construction going on.

We were invited on board ship for late lunch. Very good. Oceans Insignias, one of the smaller cruise ships. Friends on last leg of a world cruise that started in Jan in Miami, now enroute San Diego.

Need to get back to mowing, wx permitting. Rain forecast.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good afternoon.
79° and overcast. Started out at 64, going to 85.
Showers likely this evening as a line moves in from the west.

Here are some of the thunderstorms we weaved through on our way up the east coast from Fl to PA yesterday.
Keep in mind that we were at 45,000 feet so anything up that tall is quite a storm.

Here’s a good view of a classic anvil shaped thunderstorm top.

They look so serene and majestic, it’s hard to imagine the violence inside them.

Today’s project was to install the $399 Amazon mini split in the she shed. I was quite surprised how well made it was and that it came with a line set and cable. It was not DIY, in that you had to cut and fit the line set, then pressure test and evacuate it. It did come with a charge stored in the condenser (R454B), which did not require any more.
I think the only downside would be service in the future. You have to consider it disposable.

When I was approaching the barn to put the alpacas out to pasture, I felt like I was being watched.

Not sure what else I’ll get into, but I got a good start on the day.

this would be pretty neat if you could see it at night but
not too close
David, how far from your home is this volcano?
do you ever smell it?
We are about an hour drive. Unless VOG, we don’t smell it. glow was visible faintly at neighbors at the big eruption a few years ago.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 5.1C and it's presently warmed up to 5.3C... mind you, sunrise was only a half hour ago. It's overcast and calm.

As per usual, I'm off to Church in about a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.
Wagtail, are talking capybaras a big deal down under?
The only capybaras in Australia are in zoos.

That's about it, take care all.

Update on my 2022 Kawasaki Mule 4010.

Thanks for all the input. As stated my primary suspect was fuel delivery. Replaced fuel filter, checked lines, tested fuel pump…
Started and ran a few times, trying to pay attention to the sounds and except first run would stop before the stall.
Looking around my inventory, I found a new can of Berryman B12 fuel treatment. Similar to Seafoam I believe. While running I added to fuel tank. A few seconds later, a familiar sputter. A 2nd, a 3rd, was expecting another and the stall. Nope, another sputter, evened out, picked up revs. 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 accelerator responsive. 🤙🤙😁
Let it run about half hour before shutting off and immediately restarted. Somewhat confident, drove it around property for about 15 minutes, up and down hills, different gears. Cut a bunch of bananas and back to the shed. Appears to be running normal.

Dump and town run were uneventful. Local OPP ghost car was out doing his thing. Weekends I do the limit and not one kilometer over, especially in town. Got the front lawn mowed, rain chased me in. Shes not cutting as good as she should. Leaving a strip. I'll get new blades when I go to North Bay on the 8th.
I already sharpened the blades that are on it and they are no better than before I sharpened them.
