Got the town/dump run done.
Seen the new cop car up a little closer that the other day. It is all black with the 'police' greyed out. Most likely glow in the dark or something like that.

Got the front and north lot cut. Temperature was 49° with about a 20 mph wind.

Junior lit the stove so we are warmer.

Called the mechanic about the Kioti, he is thinking it is the pump and after a conversation where I told him I was retired (he thought I was still working), he also didn't think I was 79 this September.
IF it is the pump he will try and source a cheaper route for me. New Kioti hydraulic pump is $1900.oo + 13% tax. =$2147.oo plus labour @ $90.oo/hour. I told him I would call in about two weeks unless he called me first to confirm it is the pump.

Good morning, the low is 44 and going up to 57°F. Wind NE 8 mph getting up to 20 mph by noon. 40% chance of showers this afternoon and evening.

Dump/town run today. May stop at the drug store and get me a new bottle of Vicks vapo rub. My current one expired in September of last year.

If it is not raining when I get back, then I will cut the grass. The wind is supposed to pick up. The bugs don't fly in 10 mph+ winds.

Got my goobers into me, so now time for breakfast.

nice dinner at my brothers, she made some Mexican chicken dish that was yummy.
I told SIL I was a sucker for anything with chicken, corn and black beans in it and she said
she will make that next time. Was pretty close tonight. And a home grown spinach salad. Yum.

tire shop replaced the right front Goodyear Steadfast tire, said it had a slight flat spot, which corresponds with the slight thump
I heard. Nice to get it fixed but two more hours sitting in waiting room. Came home in pouring rain, tires felt fine.
Funny, none of my Michelins or Pirellis ever came with a flat spot. I wonder if being a fat 60 series they are more prone to shipping
damage. ?

57 now that’s the drizzle at times. Started digging up driveway. Had dinner at Italian Restaurant flounder stuffed with crab meat wonderful. Very anxious today not happy. Mostly it was stuffed dog

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of -0.5C and it's presently 15.1C, clear & calm. Hopefully the predicted rain will occur starting tomorrow and through the weekend. We need it.

A good trip 'into town' was had yesterday. There's not much happening at this time... the wombat has lost a fair amount of fur leaving very pink skin showing, but that's a good thing as she's healing. One of my neighbours says that she's spending the nights in his shed.
