Good Morning
45° with a high around 50 today, grey and breezy. Not a big change from yesterday, but warmer a bit drier.

Haven’t accomplished anything significant other continued progress getting the shop back into working condition.

I’m looking at working six out of the next nine days, seeing such exotic locales as Spartanburg, Akron, Vineyard Haven and Palm Peach. Fortunately they are all day trips, no overnights. I realize that won’t garner any sympathy from those that are still in the workforce, but this will put a damper on getting anything else done.
The adventure starts tomorrow morning with a trip to Spartanburg.

Frits, have you fired up any of your Primeweld gear?

Made a little progress with GD educating her on college plans. Amazing how little she knows and how everyone around her has failed to educate her. And she lives in a good school district and in a nice house located on a golf course in the suburb

No not yet and it may be a while before setting it up. They are surprisingly well built and heavy to lift. Definitely not job site friendly to move around.
Still in the process of setting up the room. Tore down the feed cribs for cattle that was along the long side of the room and now have to cover that wall. Also cover part of the rock wall for the electrical outlets to be screwed in to. Then install electrical outlets. Seems the MIG 285 needs more than typical 50 amp outlet

Good to know you are there with expert advice should it be needed

successful morning, got the rv washed and wonder of wonders, 15 pounds of air
put in water pump accumulator made it run just perfectly. Tested the heat, tested the hot water heater, all well, so shut it down
and came home. Not sure about this afternoon's prospect, might have to drive back there.

meanwhile I'm going to have lunch and build another outdoor chair. Nice that it's warmer out.
going to plant more radishes also.

Good Morning!!!! 48F @ 8:30AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High near 65F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

Had another showing yesterday, after which the potential buyers told the realtor they would make an offer. If they do, it would be the first one. The property has only been on the market for a little more than a week, so I'm in no hurry to rush into anything low ball.

Got sucked down another rabbit hole trying to suss out the Sandisk, AKA Western Digital, warranty on the failed SDD. The usual delayed phone tree got me to someone that gave me a supposedly good number, but they don't work weekends.

Main impetus for the new laptop was migrating my old web tools into a virtual machine that would have useable response. So I spent some time catching up on VMWare, looks like now it's free. And downloading a copy of the older MacOS install package. The online instructions make it sound easy, but my experience with such things leaves me suspicious.

Probably do some more packing today, not sure what else.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend...

66°F and.23 inches rain

A couple good hours mowing yesterday. Quite pleased with results. Still very thick mat of dead yet to decompose but progress. Surface much smoother since the rototilling run

Expect to continue today, wx permitting. Raining as I type.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

David, how thick is your topsoil?
igneous something underneath?

finished my outside work, got more seeds planted,
but never got to chair. If I open the box the light colored cushions are then
exposed to the garage and I sure have some greasy things in there.
I need to get the mower back out of there, put a folding table down and stack cushions on that.
besides my legs were tired, but considering I didn't have to swap out the rv water pump, and there were no new
challenges there, it was a good day. Folks who were going to look at rv were out of town and said if they got back soon enough they
would call. Too late now. I sent them more pictures and narrative. Jiggling the fishing line....keeping the fish interested.

it appears the governor of PA definitely needs a central station alarm system on his home.
on first night of Passover, some moron torched one end of his home and he didn't know it until State Police banged on his door.
That alarm should have been screaming, set one off, whole thing goes off.

I hope they catch the misfit who did this; should be cameras.
need to take security seriously, too many crazy people

Not very thick, at least in sense of what you’d expect. Sugar cane days not very kind to the soil, rather depleted. A few years as cattle pasture has helped, as did potato farming. It is primary reason I mow to return the organic material. There is a name for the underlying volcanic, but I’d have to look it up.
