Bill, that would not cause complete loss of power
but apparently a CDF clutch cylinder, whatever that is, is next in line
dealer is quite happy to put more parts in
I'm not aware of any lawsuits but there is a service bulletin about the cdf clutch cylinder failing in the transmission and needing to be replaced and it sounds like that may be your issue and would be covered under warranty.

anyone in the auto business knows of the class action lawsuits on this trans starting two years ago.
this was supposed to be the best of the best trans co-developed by Ford and GM.
there are lots of youtube videos on rebuilding the CDF clutch cylinder, looks expensive.
will cost me 100 bucks

as soon as that happened, I thought no way am I towing with this. Trans is built to fail. I just hope the new part
is better engineered.
I may be saving a half mpg with this trans but I'd rather have a ZF six speed.
Sensing that Ford may not be a prolonged time in your possession, especially if you don’t trust to tow.

Did get out before supper and got one new deck post almost all installed. Biggest problem was the wind blowing the sawdust in my face as i cut the old railing at the post location.

Lot more tree cutting at the farm today for the pipeline, they have two large excavators on the next farm above us, which used to be my G and GG grandparents farm.

Good evening all. 61ÂşF for the start, .1 inch in rain gauge, overcast with showers in the area, light breeze. Light wind except near thunderstorms, periods of rain, and high temp was 72ÂşF. Mostly, today was dealing with a different pipeline with different company, just for water line. They don't pay as much. some of the cutting today, big beech tree cut. If you zoom in, you see a couple people

Drinking first cup of coffee. 19° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 56° with partly cloudy skies. If you get a snow storm this spring. You can blame it on me. Took snow plow off tractor. Did some pond cleanup. Also did bird feeder cleaning. Mailbox adapter bracket is done. Just need neighbor to pick a time to install it. Grocery shopping this morning. Did not sleep good last night. I am sure a nap will happen some time today. Then see what I can get into when I awake from that.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
up early, slept well, enjoying my coffee

cold morning, below freezing, won't make the new growth out there very happy.
but should be nice day in the 50's. I'm headed to my sister's home in Princeton for lunch,
to show her how to attach a BatteryMinder to her car when she leaves it in garage for a month or two.
She is arty and not mechanical, genuinely clueless about this stuff. And because battery is in the trunk and she
has to connect to strange things under the hood, big brother to rescue.

I got roses placed, lot of hemming and hawwing, here or there, and will get them planted this afternoon.
Kinda ran out of oomph yesterday.

lawn is still squishy wet in spots but wind/dry weather/fire warnings being posted over general area.
Ron, thank you but no thank you on the snow. Get a nap today.

got some large plastic for sale signs and ever so carefully printed out sales info for rv.
one sign for front window and one for side.
rv will be parked next to campground office, and office said they would hand out fliers for me.
allowing a for sale sign and helping out, without a hand out, is a real help. I'm going to try this for one month, paying
full monthly rate on a site, so I can stage the rv and give it running water. I'll also put it on rvtrader.com.

David, trust relationship certainly not met yet on this car. Left me on the roadside once. Trans failure could do that again.
like the cam phasers on the ecoboost engine, once these problems are resolved, apparently engine and trans are reliable.
but after dumping six grand into this car, I'm waiting for it to return the favor. Does beat 95k for a new one though...........
and you look at all the problems the major manufacturers are having with their engines on brand new vehicles, even Toyota.
good dealer can make it all much better; wish I had one...mine is typical stealership. But they will give me a free loaner car
so that's a start. Living alone and taking cars in for service is a pain, am always bothering someone for a ride. Though now I can use
Uber for 12 bucks to get back from dealership, so that's not too bad.

31 outside this AM, heading to lower 60's.

Not much accomplished yesterday. Lots of things to do that I just did not manage to get at.

My time management sucks. I guess.

We shall see what today brings. I did manage to break out paint and got some things painted yesterday, door knobs and interior door frames for the barn entrance walkways. I hope to paint the barn this summer.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.
