43 outside this AM, may get a few degrees warmer.

Lots of rain yesterday, and wind. Just soggy and sticks all over the place. I see buds on most of the big trees surrounding the house. Snow cap flowers are blooming.

Not much accomplished around the property yesterday. Vet most of the day, I should say dentist. I should say, butcher. Dang.....not my horse, so cannot even offer an opinion and we are not asked, nor consulted. Not a good time.

Think I will run out today with the wife and make a beer run, I mean groceries. LOL. That should take the better part of the day away.

Good morning! 37˚F (colder than expected) heading to the mid 70s with a S wind and cloudy skies. Still no freezing temps in the 10 day forecast.
The pool is officially leaf free as the bots worked all day yesterday.
The leaking pool pump gets replaced today.
I started on a month long project of removing all the vegetation from the dry river bed in the back yard. That will require removing all the rocks, take out the invading ground cover, putting down fabric cover and replacing all the rocks. That reminds me I need some before and after pics.
I filled out the paperwork on the trellis I'm putting in the front court yard and should get approval today in this HOA neighborhood.
The landscape lighting guy is coming today to finish repair/replace the lighting in the back yard.
Finished patching up a spot by the garage door where the rebar was showing and will repaint the cement.
Finished repainting one wall in the closet because the touch up paint did not match.

Slowly knocking out the ever growing list of home repairs.

The friend that had the stroke Is going through physical therapy trying to learn to walk so he can go back home. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him.

The "Farm" has upped my hours to 3 days a week next week, I'll have to talk with them about going back to one day a week. The farm hours are cutting into my home project hours.

34 very windy today high of 42 next week gets warm but more cold snaps on the way.

Neighbors brought her home wanted to get checked out so took her to hospital they drew blood checked BP, after 45 minutes she got irritated took everything off and demanded to leave which she did. Got home late ate pbj then sleep in chair. I am going to get ECO on her to get her checked out to find out what is wrong. She will be mad but it’s for her own good.

Ct, 46 to start going to 55 ! Pretty foggy out now, we had quite the rain event last night but it was pretty much over by early morning hours !

Heading back to Vermont later this morning, youngest son and family coming up on Friday ! Looked at the camera up there, looks like there may be enough snow for the kids to have a little fun, not like last weekend but should be Ok !

Phil, glad you got your money back and on a new track for lathe ownership !

Frits, good progress on finger rehab !

Time to get going here, Kathleen wants to take my truck again, so it’s going to be sloppy up there will plenty of mud ! Will be doing lots of cleaning next week when we come home !

Good morning, the temperature is 34 That is the low/high for today. Wind SW 9 mph. Snow. It looks like an all day deal, coming up from Lower Michigan.

I got my final T-4 yesterday and did up the cover sheet for the deductions. It'll all go off with a courier today to the accountant.
I could probably drive it down there for a lot less than the courier is going to charge me, but I absolutely detest driving in that town. It is almost as bad as Toronto.


Today I MUST go to town and courier the package, so I might as well go to the dump, too.

Had some hard rain pass through overnight a couple times, enough to wake me up.

Been having some "ghost in the machine" type issues with the Wolfbox electronic mirror I installed in the van. Searched their website and found a firmware update and applied it. Will find out on today's trip if it cleared up the problems.

Spent most of the day collecting camping stuff and loading it in the van. It never really stopped raining, but most of the time it was just a light drizzle. One of the camp organizers said they could use another popup, so managed to drag mine from out of the back of the storage shed and get it loaded. Not sure I'll be able to get it back where I had it; just too much stuff packed in there.

Talked with the friend that had the aneurysm on their aorta, and they seemed kind of dingy still. Told them three times I'd be camping this weekend and it didn't seem to stick. Their doctor finally prescribed a different blood pressure med so hopefully that'll help. Neither of us is convinced they even have high blood pressure, but that's the best guess the doctors can come up with for the aneurysm. They also found out that the stents that were used have only been on the market for a year. Now they're afraid to get too far away from home in case something goes wrong.

Good Morning
It’s 43° and a high overcast. That’s likely the high for the day, and we might see the sun peeking out once in a while. Yesterday brought about 1-1/8” of rain. Pretty sloppy out there now.

Yesterday’s breakfast was pretty typical, we didn’t solve any of the world’s problems, but there was plenty to talk about after the speech.

My Marketplace buyer did show up and the welder is gone. He paid what I expected to get, not what I was asking, so I’m happy. Tile contractor got the backsplash tiles set, he is coming back today to grout and caulk. Made some more progress cleaning and organizing, had son and DIL over for Irish stew for dinner.

Today will start with rebuilding a loader cylinder off my friends Kubota L35. He has the cylinder removed and is bringing it over. We will have to go to the hydraulic shop for parts once it’s disassembled.
Tile guy is coming back after lunch, RC club meeting this evening. Not a lot of holes in the schedule to fill up, but something always shows up.

I turn into a different person on the weekends.

Friday is my transformation starting point.

And yes, I howl at full moons.
