Good morning!!!!

Afternoon all!
Gorgeous day here. Sunny and high 60's!
Wife and I were in and out of the voting place in less than 15 minutes.
Rest of the day was puttering in the shop.
Meeting up with a logger tomorrow to see about getting some dangerous trees trimmed at the apartment house.
Spent the day leaf picking yesterday and I'm happy to say the yard even looks good now! Wind must be blowing them elsewhere. I put all of the tools away for the season except for my hand rake and tarp. Will do cleanup in the spring.
Tomorrow is forecast to be 75 and sunny here. Wife and I are going to goof off and enjoy it. Will be doing a few small errands and then maybe go out for lunch.
Made a winged box that wanted to chop my fingers off! Also was able to make a few more magic wands.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

but Bill, now you can't drive it like you stole it! it's yours...;)
I haven't ever drove the Dodge like that. Now the Jeep, that was a different deal. It went through a snow covered ditch and clipped the community mail boxes. Cost me a fender flare and zero damage to the boxes.
Had 400 lbs of chicken feed in the back behind the rear axle and turned onto a snow covered side road and promptly lost it. It went left, then right, then around and I finally stepped on the clutch and it came to a stop. I crammed it into 4 wheel drive and carried on for the next two hours to the house in 4 wd. It had 4:10s on both ends with limited slip in the front axle and open diff in the rear. Most of that mistake was mine. I should have put 200 lbs of the feed on the passenger seat and moved the other 200 to closer to being over the rear axle. Live and learn.

Beautiful afternoon, very warm and breezy.

Headed down this afternoon to vote at the local polling location, no line, no wait.

In and out in around 10 minutes, mostly because it was a longer ballot (4 pages due to multiple local issues)

Woman went down before I did, same deal.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 9.3C and it's presently 24.8C, mostly sunny & calm-ish.

Beautiful day yesterday and the delivered wood got stacked. As I mentioned last week, I did a 'complete stretching routine' prior to tackling that job. I also put up a "Lest We Forget" poppy flag at my road-side gate/entrance as Remembrance Day is this coming Monday (11th November).

Today is 'into town' day for groceries & such.

That's about it, take care all.

and both the blanket and comforter washed just fine
in my washing machine.
Drew, you also inspired me to give my 'doona' (comforter) cover a wash yesterday.

Our Federal government agencies are moving towards newer technologies that allow for single sign on to multiple agencies. SS and IRS for instance are starting to utilize a service called login.gov. By registering with that service, one can use on-line services from both agencies. Sort of gets rid of having accounts at both and all the passwords to recall off post it notes.
We have that here. It's called MyGov and it's a one login/password with a text code verification website that is linked to your various government accounts... in my case, 4 of them: Veterans, ATO (tax), Medicare and, now, Centrelink (OAP).

It works very well in my experience.

Evening all;

Hope you all have voted, only 2 hours till the polls are closed.
My wife and I went down about 10AM one person in line ahead of us, went quickly.

Came home and I went and raked and blew leaves out of the ditches again so when it rains they won't plug up the culverts, blower, hand rake and york rake.

Then finished replacing the front work lights on the Branson had broken one this summer; and then noticed one of the rears is out.
One new (tractors left) and one old, low beam head lights, high beam headlights, then new work lights.

Good morning, the low is 58 and the high to 57°F. Wind SW 14 gusting to 23 mph. Cloudy now with 60% chance of showers.

I'm up way too early, but there is nothing stopping me from going back to bed for a power nap or two. I woke up with the almost uncontrollable urge to park on the throne. It was a wasted dime. Can't take my pills until 6 A.M. at the earliest and can't eat until after I take them.

I will putz around on the net until I fall asleep in my chair, then go back to bed.

Have a good holiday Scott.

Have a safe day all

good morning all
a warm 62 out going up to almost 80 today, unseasonably warm

garden shed arriving this morning, need to go out and prune a few pine limbs too
close to its spot. Then I hope I'll have a fun time installing hangers and hooks inside, goal is to get all
garden stuff out of garage so that area can be woodworking and workshop only. And of course to park my car
in there before it snows.

as for headlines, oh my.
